Writer, Editor, Creator
I am a writer and copyeditor with over a decade of experience, and a lifetime of creative pursuits. After graduating from Occidental College (BA, English/Comparative Literature Studies), I worked for an independent publishing house in New York as a copyeditor. Since then, I have had the pleasure of writing content for clients such as HUM Nutrition, Guitar.com, and The LA Girl. I have worked as a copyeditor for marketing companies, start-ups, independent artists, and consulting firms, to name a few. Most recently, I worked for three years as a Level 2 Technical Editor for Sonoma Technology, an air quality consulting firm. I have also worked as a songwriter on countless projects including Boom Rattle Boom (an activism musical with acclaimed artist DJ Moda), “Alibi” (an original song with Vincent Jones, MD for Sarah McLachlan), and a modernized version of “Ain’t No Way to Treat a Lady,” with Grammy-nominated, platinum-artist, Harriet Schock.
I love helping people tell their stories and believe the written word is one of our most powerful tools in changing the world. I am passionate about communication, and the power it has to heal, connect, and change paradigms. I am driven by human connection, and collaboration is at the heart of everything I do.
In my free time I enjoy talking to my plants, making potions, and getting the people I love to laugh at my stupid jokes. I am committed to social justice, my queer community, dismantling white supremacy, and trying, word by word, to make this galaxy a better place.
